Shows
At the heart of BTA is our shows, giving students the opportunity to do what they love most – performing! Twice a year (in January and July) students are invited to be a part of the BTA productions which take place at Howden Shire Hall.
From costumes to props and everything in between, show weekends are a highlight in the BTA calendar. Students love being at the theatre, and it is a fantastic opportunity to build confidence, be inspired and create new friendships.
Exams / Awards
Exams and awards are a great way for students to recognise the progress they have achieved, demonstrating their understanding of the skills and techniques they have learnt in class.
At BTA we follow the LAMDA exam syllabus and National Performing Arts Alliance awards scheme, with 100% success rate! In addition to this, music students are able to follow the ABRSM syllabus for their chosen instrument.
